Music Ministry

Join together in song, under the talented direction of our choir director, Sister Rose Clare Ehrlich, CSA. Rehearsals on Thursday evenings, 6:30 -8:00 p.m.

Eucharistic Adoration

 

 Fridays from 8:30 AM to 8:00 PM . The Blessed Sacrament is exposed and adored by volunteers who sign up for one hour or more to pray before the Lord Jesus present in the Monstrance.

Finance Council

Advises the Pastor on financial matters of the parish and school. Responsible for monitoring all income and expenses, and approving the annual budgets.

Offertory Counters

A group that counts the funds collected at Mass each week. Each group volunteers about once a month.

Parish Pastoral Council

The PPC 's function is to be involved in  programs affecting the liturgical and spiritual life of St. Paul of the Cross Parish.

Senior Altar Server

Men and women who assist at Mass or Funeral masses to enhance the worship of our faith community.

Stations of the Cross

Held Fridays at 11:00 AM and 7:00 PM in the Church  during Lent. 

Usher

Volunteers who assist people to their seat if necessary. They also take up the collection.

 St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry

Volunteers who operate our food  pantry on Mondays from 10 a.m.-12 noon each week. For more information, contact Jerry Hollenbaugh @ 244-3879.

Men’s Bible Study Group

All men are welcome! Meetings are held the 2nd Sunday of the month from 6:00 -8:00 p.m. Join us for socialization, and engaging (no pressure) conversation about our faith in a relaxed environment. Questions? Please contact Don Neff @ 244-0144 or John Gilles @ 244-7833

 

Altar Server

Boys and girls from grade 3 and above who assist the priest at the liturgy.

 

Eucharistic Minister

Extraordinary Ministers of Communion who serve the Body and Blood of Christ at Mass and to the sick and homebound.

 

Flowers and Grounds

Volunteers who care for and beautify the grounds and church.

Greeters

Parish volunteers who warmly welcome parishioners as they enter the Church for Mass.

Lector

Reader who proclaim the Scriptures at Mass and other services.

Liturgical Linen Service

Responsible for the preparation and care of the altar linens. This includes the washing and ironing of purificators, corporals, and altar linens.

RCIA

Rite of Christian Initiation – preparation of adult candidates for Catholic sacraments.

Sacristan

Duties include preparing the altar for Mass and cleaning the altar following Mass.
